Quote requests

A quote request is an enquiry. We telephone you to see whether we can take the job. It is not a payment and does not book a visit.

Finishing retainers

A PayPal payment on this site is a deposit for one named finish need. The deposit is credited in full. It buys one included site attendance of up to 4 hours of finishing labour in that scope at the UK address you supply, plus a written note of any remaining work. A visit date is agreed in writing after payment, subject to access and a UK postcode we can reasonably serve. Payment does not reserve a clock time on the day you pay. The service starts when we begin the included attendance at the address you gave, or when we start the written remaining-works note if attendance cannot proceed. Paying on PayPal does not itself start the service and does not book a calendar date.

Any remaining amount = quoted extra labour + quoted extra materials. The deposit you already paid is credited in full and is not charged again. If you do not accept a later quotation, remaining amount = £0.

If more work is needed after the included visit, we send a written quotation first. It shows the hourly rate, estimated extra hours and any materials. Extra work starts only if you accept that quotation.

BUILD IT DEVELOPMENT LIMITED does not collect card numbers, cardholder names, expiry dates or CVV. Payment records are held in PayPal Activity.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a retainer within 14 days from the day after PayPal captures the payment. Send a clear notice to info@builditdevelopment.com or use the standard form on the Cancellation and refunds page. If we have not started the service, we refund in full through PayPal within 14 days of receiving your notice. If you asked us to start during that period, a reasonable deduction may apply for work already done. You lose the right to cancel once the included attendance is fully performed at your request during the cooling-off period.
